As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Baker has been involved in financial planning since 1981. Prior to the formation of Baker & Yoest, Mr. Baker was co-founder and co-owner of a successful investment firm, Hochman & Baker Financial Services, Inc., that had over 750 investment professionals who offered sophisticated financial consulting and investment advice to individuals and business owners. This firm was purchased by a Fortune 500 company in 2004. Since then Mr. Baker has been a financial advisor helping his clients with their investments and retirement goals.
Mr. Baker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola University and a Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the John Marshall Law School. He is the author of several articles on tax strategies and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Mr. Baker is a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).
